Finding our S(e)oul: day 1 and 2

So this is for the past 2 days. We had to wake up really early on Friday to catch our flight to Seoul. Everything worked out, ate some noodz before our flight. Got into Seoul and I struggled using my Korean to get us a cell phone and a bus ride to our hotel. mama, we made it. got to hotel pop green around 4 something in apgujung. we explored apgujung for a while...its a sweet place, full of young people, shops, huge department stores, bars, etc. went to "rodeo" which is the main shopping district in apgujung, where, i am told, korean celebrities go to shop. also its rodeo...like LA. if you didnt get that. found a place to eat with some bulgogi kuksu, which is bulgogi on noodles. ate that shit up real good. used my korean to converse with dem waitresses. after dinner, we, with my amazing korean direction-asking abilities, went to Han gang. the Han river, son. i had to ask like 3 people because i could only catch a bit of wat they said each time. word. ben especially wanted to walk along the river because of one of our favorite movies, The Host--it was filmed primarily here. we walked along the river for almost 2 hours, as bikers and runners WIZZED by us. one biker even turned and said "HI". it was really pretty at night and the river is badass. rivers like the Han can be called badass. before we headed back to apgujung, i called Jaehoon and Victoria, some of my Korean exchange friends, to let them know we were here and to make plans for tomorrow. then we went back to apgujung, i took some pictures with joon pyo advertisements, aka me, and told locals that i was joon pyo. we were super tired, so we went to a mini mart to get some drank and headed back to hotel to sleep. NEXT DAY.

day 2: woke up around 9 ish and went to a pc bang. to write this blog. also the guy at teh pc bang gave me a dirty look because of my wonder girls (yoo bin) shirt. but jaehoon ccalled me because he was here so we had to leave. got a bus pass and went with jaehoon to myeong dong street, which is like a huge shopping district, and probably my favorite area of the trip. we met up with victoria and explored myeong dong before going to lunch. we ate some local specialty spicy chicken and seafood. twas real spicy but really good. this was actually jaehoons first time to myeong dong, which is humorous. after lunch we headed over to Mt namsan and the seoul tower. we took a cable car to get there, which was used in BOYS BEFORE FLOWERS. yay. and rode that to the top of the mountain. really amazing view of seoul and really pretty. also jaehoons first time to the mountain. went into the seoul tower which gave you even better view of seoul. also at the top of mt namsan there is this cool thing where you and a lover bring a lock and lock it onto the tower or around the tower and throw the key over the edge. no lovers in our group, but it was really kewl. headed back down the mountain, where a couple was talking in korean about my shirt. naturally i butted in and told them whats up, in korean. went back to myeong dong, where ben got some fried squid things. he like dem skwid. i bought a sweet hat that said "got mi nam" which basically means pretty boy (flower cute boy literally) and wore that proudly. we walked around and went to a sticker photo place, where we took some hilarious photos that yall can see later. really cute pics. so cute. boner cute. when we were paying for them, the cashier said she recognized me from youtube--apparently a video of me at the wonder girls concert dancing to one of their songs--a dance i do perfectly, if i may boast. my partial celebrity status in korea is building. i gave her an autograph. she fainted. we left. without paying. then we went to the oo che guk, aka the post office in myeong dong, because a drama i watched was filmed there. lawl. cats. then we went to gyeongdong palace, which is basically the most famous palace in seoul. walked around there for a while. sweet historical stuff. we be historianz. took some hilarious pics in those "put your head on a body" shots. went to insadong next, which is a street with traditional korean shops. it was packed, like myeongdong, especially snce some festival was going on today. stopped at a tea house to get tea and jaehoon's favorite korean dessert, which i forgot the name right now, but it was crushed ice, beans, fruits, and tasty. it was amazing. after, we went to a famous mark called ssamzie market, which is a few story plaza, that spirals around. really cool place. loved it. <3'd it! sarang'd it. took some pics, then headed back to insadong where i took a really HAWT picture with my twin, pi (rain). stopped by at some silly stores to purchase SOCKS. ben got one with TOP on it, mine with G DRAGON (our big bang heroes). then got dinner at a bi bim bap place, that was sponsored to some extent by boys before flowers (again the drama i love) because it had pics of Kim bum aand Kim So Eun all over it. ben got spicy octopus bi bim bap, same with vicky-fresh. jaehizzle got some veggie bi bim bap and i got me some kimchee pork bi bim bap. really tasty and good price. after that, victoria asked the manager if i could get something to remember the place, because i am joon pyo, and its special because the restaurant in teh drama was based off it. they gave me a poster of the F4. amazing. and the day keeps going. we went to changcheyeon stream, which was really pretty, and apparently a place where tons of couples in their "couple t shirts" go and sit. we sat and talked for a while...surprised we didnt see Jun (G) and Kate there. lol :D. those lovebirds. walked around there, saw a band perform hotel california live on a bridge over the stream. anyways, really legit place and hope to go back. this is where jaehoon me and ben departed with victoria, as we went back to apgujung. got back and jaehoon showed us the SM building, where i will work in the future. there were many kids there just waiting--for celebs to come out. some kid asked me who i was waiting for. i said BoA, SNSD, and Shinee, bitch. he was impressed. said bye to Jaehoon who went home and we headed back to the hotel and ptfo'd. long day.

now it is Sunday morning at the pc bang. about to MEAT the kids down at the coex mall. payce yall. stay real.
